2019-20 High School Science Teacher?REPORTS TO: Principal?TERMS: Per the Prospect School District #59 Collective Bargaining Agreement: 153 workdays; 6 paid holidays; 10 paid sick days; 4 paid personal days.?COMPENSATION: Per the Prospect Licensed Salary Schedule starting salary $34,545 DOE; health insurance premiums paid up to $1,146 per month; employer pays full PERS. Salary and health insurance premiums yet to be negotiated by the teachers? union for the 2019-20 school year.?JOB SUMMARY: To teach high school science courses that engage students, increase student achievement, and prepare students for their future. Course schedule may include Biology, Physical Science, Plant Science, Animal Science, FFA/Leadership, and an elective focused around teacher expertise.
