High School Science Teacher
Description:Assignment includes teaching courses in Physical Science or Biology and Agriculture. Candidates must be dedicated to having high expectations for all students and skilled in supporting the needs of all learners. Candidates must be motivated to teach using 21stcentury teaching skills including project based learning, applying content to real world issues and developing interdisciplinary connections. Candidates must desire working on a team of teachers to continually improve and?innovate instruction.?Requirements:Current Oregon teaching license valid for grades 9-12 with Biology endorsement. Knowledge of Physical Science, Biology and Agriculture curriculum and standards. Knowledge and ability to implement effective teaching practices including integration of technology and project-based learning.? Special emphasis on effective teaching strategies and assessment practices and higher level thinking skills.?
