SUMMARY:The expectation of this position is to staff and retain personnel for the GGP Complex to achieve business and regulatory requirement. Essential functions of this position are: provide candidates to meet staffing needs; to manage employee relations; achieve and maintain company policy and federal and state regulatory compliance; develop and maintain effective and qualified team members; and perform administrative duties as assigned. The competencies essential to this position include: functional/technical, drive for results, planning, managing/measuring work, time management, building effective teams, ethics/values, motivating, directing others, conflict management, written communication, developing self/others, and verbal communication.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Requires an Associate's degree or minimum of 2 years of college or minimum of 4 years of recent HR experience. PHR/SPHR preferred.Experience: Must have four (4) years HR related experience.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals using available computer programs.Travel: Travel domestically approximately two (2) to four (4) trips per year.Biosecurity: The jobsite is a biosecurity environment which requires showering before entering the facility and could require multiple showers during the work day. Appropriate clothing and footwear is provided by the Company. No jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds). The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times. Must be willing tofollow the guidelines in all Cobb Farm/Hatcheries Biosecurity Standards.Physical REQUIREMENTS: Must use safe lifting techniques. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use handsto finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds.
