HR Generalist, Breeding: Provide comprehensive HR support for the Breeding organization Develop effective relationships with key business leadersProvide counsel and assist employees and people managers in resolving complex Human Resource problems, including disciplinary counseling, legal issues and terminationsProviding coaching and consultation to people managers and leaders with a focus on our site locations. Assist in developing and implementing I&D initiatives and people/ leadership development effortsDemonstrate active leadership during organizational change effortsProvide strong leadership and influence to the business by providing frequent communication, responding to employee feedback and ensuring fairness in the workplacePartner with appropriate HR specialist teams to deliver HR excellence. This includes Talent Acquisition, GTOC, and RewardsEnsure effective leadership and operational excellence of all basic HR processes including performance reviews, incentive planning and talent reviews/succession planningQualifications:Required Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field required.3+ years of progressive Human Resources or related experience is required, previous HR Generalist experience would be an asset. Solid understanding of HR policies/procedures, as well as local, state and federal employment lawsStrong ability to establish and build relationships with key business leadersStrong influencing skills and demonstrated ability to work with leadership and employeesStrong communication and presentation skills including the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levelsAbility to implement consistent HR direction and practice across multiple locationsAbility to analyze information, diagnose needs and make decisions quickly and accuratelyAgility and ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentExcellent teamwork skills with the ability to operate in a matrixed structureStrong organizational skills, process orientation with attention to detailRecognize, respect, and leverage talents, skills, and resources of others, both in and outside MonsantoAbility to travel 10%
