Manages a team of 6 who handle staffing, benefits administration, employee relations, HR administration and file management, and training.?
Reports to Complex Manager.???
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruits, hires, orients and trains hourly and salaried labor force.
Manages enrollment and day-to-day administration of employee benefits for the complex.
Participates on the complex leadership team to set strategic and tactical HR plans, and then to execute key initiatives.?
Responsible for implementing the People component of the Pilgrim?s Management Method, the company methodology for process improvement and effective management.?
Mediates and resolves conflicts among employees. Processes formal disciplinary actions.
Manages day to day employee relations, including incident investigations and problem solving.
Manages communications plans for employee and outside communications.? Manages internal and external reports and indicators.
Locates and sets up vendors for HR related activities
Orients new employees and manages annual training plans for all employees
Manages HR administration and file maintenance, including absences, vacations, leaves, etc.
Investigates employee complaints.? Maintains thorough documentation and ensures appropriate follow-up.
Ensures regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, etc., as well as compliance with company policies.? Leads HR audit of other Pilgrim?s complexes.
Develops and nurtures relationships with key community business associations, charity organizations, etc.
Works with complex safety management to ensure a safe work environment.
A bachelors degree in a related field and 5 years HR experience preferred.?
