You will own your own work and find innovative ways to deliver on our vision of feeding the world responsibly while working along beside 15,000 people around the globe who care about you.Reporting to the Senior Director of HR Shared Services as part of the HR Shared Service Center in Loveland, Colorado, the HR Shared Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of HR services to Agrium employees. The HR SSC Manager is responsible for leading a team of Shared Service Representatives who perform a variety of administrative and technical human resource, benefits and global mobility activities to support our clients in North America. The HRSSC Manager is an escalation point for all team concerns.Key Tasks:- Interact with the Reward Center of Excellence (CoE) on the delivery of benefits. Support the Reward CoE in the system preparation for Open Enrollment, to include system testing. Ensure HRSSC staff members are prepared to deploy a successful open enrollment period.- Coordinate the tracking and reporting of service delivery according to agreed KPI's and other measures agreed with the Business Units.- Coordinate and carry out plan compliance related work- Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions- Analyze vendor reports and provide feedback- Review vendor contracts and hold them to account for service delivery.- Manage all systems and activities to ensure that transactions and quality expectations meet or exceed all KPI requirements. – Ensure that all Company related administrative forms, reports, processes, and audits are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with relevant local, state, federal and provincial regulations for Benefits, HR Recordkeeping and Global Mobility. – Serve as a program expert and resource; may handle escalations from senior leadership and/or business units.- Mentors staff to maximize performance and potential.- Partners with internal departments to develop training plans for the team; assists with department training to include assess training needs, providing refresher training, and observing post-training performance to determine if training was successful.- Consistently exercise independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance.- Must be available to work variable schedules as necessary.- Manage the administration of the HRIS. Establishes procedures required to standardize and record transactions to ensure efficient process and workflows in an accurate and timely manner.- Interprets HR/Benefit policies and procedures and develops/translates into HRSSC transactional process flows and procedures.- Serves as the HRSSC subject matter expert on employee transactions as they relate to SAP and acts as an advisor to the organization to resolve and implement any necessary functional modifications.- Recommends enhancements to HRSSC transactional process flows based on needs analysis.- Handles complex requests and interfaces with other functions within HRSSC as well as the business units to resolve escalations and implement changes.- Continually monitors HRSSC operations for internal process improvements that will increase efficiency and effectiveness and reduce costs.- Ensure team adherence to HRSSC scorecard and makes recommendations for future modifications to support the continuous evolution of the HRSSC.- Participate in teams, special projects and/or committees.- Meet regularly with direct reports to build relationships and provide feedback to employees to enhance achievement of goals and metrics. Ensure that direct reports understand their contribution to the overall organization.- Identify plans to assist employees in meeting metrics goals. Leverage department and team lead to assist in follow up training or coaching with team.- Handle all matters with the highest level of confidentiality while working comfortably in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.- Build and maintains a strong high performing team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building, performance management and resource planning.- Promote a culture of high customer service, actively encouraging sharing of ideas and cross functional collaboration.- Answer questions and recommends corrective resolutions to address customer issues, complaints and inquiries.
