The Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for managing the execution of key Total Rewards (compensation, benefits, work-life and learning) programs and initiatives to attract, retain, engage and drive the overall satisfaction of candidates and employees alike. The role s primary responsibility is the leadership on and management of all aspects of the Company s regional employee recognition and rewards program. Besides vendor relationship management, this responsibility includes ensuring the program is used effectively within the region, business units and functions. It also includes both a governance role and driving continuous improvement and innovation within the program. Other key responsibilities of this role include management of several programs within the Company s we@BASF (corporate CSR platform/brand) including matching gifts, scholarships and an employee assistance fund. Additionally, this role is responsible for helping drive utilization and optimization of various other total rewards programs and policies. The role leads other ad hoc projects, as required by business and talent needs. The incumbent assists the Manager, Total Rewards/ Compelling Total Offer in educating the business on the Company s total rewards philosophy, available tools, and leaders role in conveying this philosophy to employees in a relevant way. The role works cross-functionally, both within HR and across the larger organization to ensure alignment between our Employer Brand Promise and the employee experience we deliver.Formula for Success: Capitalizing on your success managing impactful large, regional or global recognition and rewards programs, you will: Manage the day-to-day administration of the Company s regional recognition program and ensure it is effectively communicated and utilized within the country/business/function to effectively drive overall unit and Company goals. This includes, but is not limited to, governance, program optimization, reporting and analysis, communication, and continuous improvement all in partnership with the program vendor and BASF business and HR leadership.Leverage your proven ability to successfully project manage complex, cross-functional projects, providing ongoing management and strategic oversight of all key total rewards signature programs , including the Company s Matching Gifts Program, Scholarships Program and the Employee Assistance Fund (we@BASF)Partner with the Manager, Total Rewards/ Compelling Total Offer on the governance and administration of the Company s tuition reimbursement and flexible work programsApply your valuable and influential communication and consultative skills, forming engaged vendor relationships, resulting in timely and successful program delivery to stakeholdersProvide ad hoc support for employees who have experienced a hardship due to a major disaster or other acute local or personal crisis and for special initiatives and events, as needed (e.g. new parent onesies , we@BASF collateral, benefit fairs, special engagement events, etc.)Author and compile content and scheduling for key total rewards communications materials and channels significantly driving employee education and engagement, including, but not limited to, YOU Magazine, e-newsletter(s), and an annual Total Rewards Statement (TRS) website conveying to employees the value of their total offerExercise your strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills in partnership with our Total Rewards Analyst, researching industry trends, understanding what is next for total rewards and evaluate and benchmark market-driven solutions and vendors to identify and present potential cost-effective and competitive solutions to benefit the corporationCreate Your Own Chemistry: What We Offer You Adding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
