Human Resources Administrator

?Requisition ID : 1218Landus Cooperative is currently seeking a person responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the HR function, including but not limited to maintaining all employee information in the human resource information system; processing payroll; entering and updating employee benefit information; maintaining personnel files; and projects as assigned.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. ?Other duties may be assigned.Enters employment data into the HRIS, including new hires, terminations, and any employment record related changesPerform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities necessary to process and reconcile payroll, including, but not limited to: ?maintaining time and attendance records, posting changes in pay and tax status, computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, balancing and controlling earnings and deduction totals, inspecting automated system output such as registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out-of-balance conditions, ?processing involuntary deductions such garnishments, and documenting and updating procedures.Maintains payroll and related records, including, but not limited to: recording the accumulation and use of vacations, holidays, sick days, and miscellaneous leaves of absence. May calculate deductions for group health, life, and disability insurance premiums and communicate to employees and HR staff.Responsible for creating and maintaining employee personnel files. Ensures that all necessary HR documentation is obtained, completed and filed in a compliant and timely mannerMay conduct, monitor, and communicate with candidates, management, and vendors regarding pre-employment background, drug screening, and motor vehicle screening.Assist with preparation of HR, payroll, tax and related reports as neededWill cross train on delegated human resources functions ??QUALIFICATIONS:?To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.?The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.?Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.?EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: ?Minimum 2-years related experience in Human Resources or combination of experience and educationExperience with payroll and timekeeping software, preferably ADPProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, or database programsKnowledge of employment principles, practices and employee relations a plus with demonstrated knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.Strong interpersonal skills essential ? establish strong and appropriate employee and supervisor relationships as well as relationships with outside vendors, organizations and individualsExemplary administrative skills and strong attention to detail, including ability to prioritize, organize and manage projects through to completionAbility to use discretion and maintain absolute confidentiality of employee and organizational informationExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-orientedExceptional time management skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload with changing deadlinesHR experience supporting multiple locations a plusConvey a professional and positive image and attitude regarding the organizationEqual Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
