You will be responsible for coaching and advising leaders and employees on all performance management issues including absenteeism, performance, harassment and animal welfare conduct by ensuring compliance with policies, practices and applicable employment legislation, all the while providing consultation and resolution guidance to promote a positive work culture. ?In addition to these responsibilities you'll provide guidance on the leave of absence and restricted duty policies and act as a backup resource for the workers compensation program. ?As you grow and develop in your career with Christensen Farms, your role will expand into onboarding of new employees along with training and development.?Primary Responsibilities:Provide employee relations support for managers and employee's at field locationsAdvises on termination decisions to ensure appropriate processes are followed, and to minimize risk.Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints or conduct employee work place investigations and provide recommendations on appropriate resolutions.Weekly update of employee relations activity at field locations.Oversee and ensure appropriate administration of all leave of absence policies. ?Consults with legal counsel as appropriate.Ensures compliance with all phases of leave administration, working with the W/C Administrator and Benefit Administrator.Review and coordinate job accommodation process and ensure alignment with ADA, state and local compliance.This position reports to the Sr. HR Business PartnerRequirements:?BA/BS degree in HR Management, Business, related field or equivalent work experience required.3- 5 years of HR Generalist experience with a focus in employee relations.Prior experience and knowledge in HR and Labor laws.Bilingual in English and Spanish or the willingness to learn Spanish is preferred.PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
