Human Resources Clerk I
SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for answering telephone inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate personnel; greeting job applicants and verifying that applications are complete and accurate; posting job opportunities andanswering questions regarding job openings; distributing department mail; completing forms and typing memos, correspondence and meeting minutes; entering new hire, rehire, termination and Team Member change information into the system(s); assisting with new Team Member orientation; answering Team Member questions regarding payroll, policies, benefits, etc.; handling employment verifications for current and past Team Members; compiling data and generating reports; maintainingconfidential personnel records; ordering supplies; and any other duties as assigned. Work involves occasional non-routine assignments. Requires some judgment in the selection of standard procedures from among several that apply to the job.Includes organizing work and selecting appropriate methods to complete tasks. Candidate must be flexible with a willingness to learn and be a team player, as tasks are not set as designated and may change. Ideal candidate will be flexible with hours, as they could change depending on the tasks assigned.REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 6 months of office experience Preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills including Microsoft office and using Tyson Business Computer System, an understanding of the system features and how to use these features. Communication Skills: Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
