Position Summary:Under general direction and with minimal supervision, using established procedures and policies, applies advanced skills and knowledge of assessing business needs to gather, organize, prioritize and complete numerous projects and assignments concurrently. Job Responsibilities:Analyze, research, and recommend solutions to moderately complex problems and technical issues in a timely manner Must be able to interact and deal effectively with all levels of employees while maintaining a professional manner.Use established relationships with customers, business units, and corporate I.T. personnel to ensure customer support process and customer satisfaction remains at a high level for the entire group Ability to work well within groups to meet IT department directions and goals; troubleshoot intermediate problems and effectively utilize available resources to resolve problems; and understand, explain, and assist with adherence of internal policy as it pertains to the group and user/customer base Intermediate understanding of the information management technologies supporting ADM business systems is preferred Responsible for the proper functioning of all IT business functions, including all utilities and tools required to maintain the production and test environments as well as the following:Make modification proposals and assist in the review of proposed modifications to the IT business functions and will participate in the testing and implementation of all changesProvide technical support efforts involving issues related to the IT business environment. This individual must be adept in all aspects of managing complex IT environments.Responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies, working primarily with management and technologists across functional disciplines. Design, recommend and implement technical infrastructure and software solutions, including but not limited to server sizing, hardware specifications and software installation/configuration. Serves as the technical interface between customer requests, vendors, service providers and service management.Job Requirements:Experience supporting customized or in-house built applications is requiredExperience supporting 3rd party applications such as MaximoExperience driving change within an IT organization by recognizing opportunities and implementing solutionsExperience managing high customer service levels through service level agreements and frequent interaction with customersExperience managing QA/QC functions including black box testing activities for software bug fixes or small software changesExperience analyzing data, developing and managing KPIs and reporting results to management.Experience creating, coordinating, and executing software training activities for the application support team and end users.Experience planning, coordinating, and executing system/software upgrades.Knowledge of relational databases with ability to understand and create SQL queries for troubleshooting purposes or aptitude to learn these skills
