Image & Equipment Specialist
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Refined Fuels Marketing group. We are looking for an Image and Equipment Specialist to support Refined Fuels Marketing through management of Cenex retail image and equipment program initiatives for new to brand and existing branded sites. You must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be team player all while delivering excellent customer service.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be able to manage multiple projects at the same time. You will:Maintain daily contact verbally and/or through written correspondence with vendors, CHS field staff, and customers as it relates to Image and Equipment Projects.Develop and administer electronic and departmental files for individual projects to provide monthly results to management.Analyze project needs and prepare project proposals for the upgrade or repair of equipment and/or Cenex retail image elements, including new-to-brand retail locations. Negotiate with vendors when appropriate to improve competitive pricing for a job. Provide customer with professional proposal to meet or exceed their expectations while achieving budgeted margins.Be responsible for decision making on Cenex image branding elements such as canopy logo placement and primary price sign selection and placement.Recommend products and provide quotes on retail image and equipment products including but not limited to canopies, graphics, price signs, retail fuel dispensers and point of sale (POS) systems.Check vendor invoices for accuracy, approve invoices for customer invoicing, and answer customer questions on invoicing.
Contact customers updating them on the progress of their image and equipment orders.Travel up to 10% domestically.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor?s degree5 plus years of work experience in the Energy industry.Previous experience with;Petroleum equipmentSales and marketingVendor pricing and negotiationsPurchasing and product forecastingPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Experience with fuel station/franchise branding and conversionPetroleum product knowledge with emphasis in dispensers and POS systemsKnowledge of the cooperative systemExperience with JD Edwards and Microsoft Dynamics 365
