ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES The Industrial Sales Manager will be responsible for coordination of ADM?s business activities within the oilfield space, including sales and marketing activities. This person will lead Evolution Chemical?s efforts in developing the oilfield market, provide industry guidance on existing products, work with the product development team to recommend new and improved products, and drive adoption of Evolution Chemicals? offerings.
This person will work collaboratively with various ADM teams including sales, marketing, R&D, regulatory, logistics and operations to achieve targeted financial results.
Additional key responsibilities include:
Grow sales revenues of ADM?s existing product portfolio in the oilfield segmentExecute sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales plans in collaboration with product managers; projecting expected sales volume and profit for new and existing productsDevelop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner Develop markets and customers for new oilfield productsActively manage the business to achieve maximum profitability and returnsObtain and communicate market information/intelligence including market trends and product developments to team members Develop growth plans and execute business strategiesMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and trade shows; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networksWork effectively in a matrix structured organizationDemonstrate strong service and customer focus and demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customersMonitor emerging trends in the oilfield industry to support strategic planning, product development/reformulation, quality assessment, process enhancement and external messaging. Demonstrate working knowledge of all ADM products in the oilfield industry Identify complementary products to current ADM product lines Coordinate with corporate marketing, create, manage and execute the ADM Evolution Chemical brand Communicate the voice of the customer to team membersDemonstrate ability to interact and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
REQUIREMENTS We seek an experienced business / sales manager.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years experience in the oilfield industry, with an extensive network of contacts and relationships in the industry.
He or she has significant experience in developing sales opportunities and closing sales contracts.
Drilling fluids /
mud tech experience is highly desirable.
