This position will perform the role of a Security Associate in the Information Security organization within Information Technology. The IT Security Associate will be responsible for secondary support to computer, data, infrastructure and network related systems, utilizing the latest tools and technologies to build on existing functionality. Responsibilities will require familiarity with Zoetis IS layered defense systems and correlated information repositories which are leveraged to protect corporate informational assets. Interpretation and analysis of intelligence feeds as it applies to custom, high level coding toolsets will also be required.
Strategy and Business Results: * Operate as part of the Information Security Team with primary responsibilities related to Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Threat Intelligence, and Security Operations. * Become proficient in the operation and use of all Information Security systems, specifically in support of API and application specific custom programming. * Contribute to the evolution of the internal InfoSec operation with consistent improvement recommendations and efficiencies. * Develop and maintain tools (scripts, workflows, macros, etc) to aid in support of the IS processes and systems * On occasion, be required to represent Information Security during business meetings and/or red team sessions. * To articulate and discuss technical issues with both technicians and non-technical clients * To compose and present material to communicate difficult concepts and gain consensus * To work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Work in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality of investigation and project information. * To adapt to changing requirements and constraints
Organizational RelationshipsThis position will have interaction with all other Zoetis information Technology Services teams, Information Security, other HW/SW/carrier vendors, and other client facing Zoetis ITS functions.
Education and Experience Education: * University Degree in a recognized, and relevant technical, or business related field Experience: * A strong desire for a long term career within Information Security * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Solid fundamental computer operational skills * Participation in information security industry forums or other information security organizations.

Quickly communicates customer satisfaction / concerns to management, escalating issues as necessary, but does so with positive recommended approaches to addressing any concerns * Able to interpret and explain complex IT issues in very simple non-IT terminology * Effective meeting facilitation skills, presentation skills, and action item tracking skills * Ability to build strong working relationships within an organization and between organizations
