DescriptionRole SummaryThe InnovationCenter of Excellence Leader is responsible for identifying and”importing” technological innovation to Cortevaand applying thatinnovation to business goals within the company. This Leader will form closepartnerships with business stakeholders to execute successful innovationprojects. This individual will lead a cross-functional team working on innovationprojects, including development, architecture, UX, and graphic design.Potential innovation focus areas include artificial intelligence, augmentedreality, and blockchain. Ultimately, this individual leads the effort togenerate and foster technological innovation in support business strategy. KeyResponsibilities & AccountabilitiesLead a team ofteam of individuals in the Innovation Center of Excellence to developinnovation projects tosupport Cortevas strategy, such as new products or new ways of working with technologyReview newtechnologies and innovations in the external environment (e.g., artificial intelligence,machine learning and automation)Formulate viewson the role of innovations in the Corteva environment, develop innovation agenda, andtransmit knowledge to IT and the businessDrivelighthouse projects to support various business use cases leveraginginnovative technologiesBuild priorityrelationships with IT leaders, particularly IT Business Partners, and other leaders across CortevaCreate andmanage relations with startup communityPartnereffectively with internal and external partners and stakeholders to efficientlydeliver on innovationinitiativesDrive toptalent acquisition, retention, growth and engagement, while promoting aninclusive, performancebased culture within the Innovation Center of ExcellenceFoster internalinnovation via seminars, Hackathons, etc.Influence andfoster a culture of innovation more broadly at Corteva IT, encouraging the adoption of aninnovation-oriented mindset in approach to meeting and exceeding business needsEnsure fundingwell spent across Innovation Center of Excellence activitiesEstimatehigh-level costs for projects; build and enforce strong financial governanceand ControlsInnovativepractices and initiatives are adopted by businessStrongstrategic relationships between IT and business stakeholdersIT serves as akey partner in the pursuit of business innovationQualificationsPositionRequirements TechnicalCompetenciesKnowledge ofand experience with latest technology innovations, e.g., ArtificialIntelligence, AugmentedReality, and BlockchainPragmaticability to apply technology in a dynamic enterprise environment LeadershipCompetenciesAnticipate andbalance the needs of multiple stakeholdersBuildpartnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesAchieve resultsconsistently, even under tough circumstancesHold self andothers accountable to meet commitmentsCreate new andbetter ways for the organization to be successfulRecognize thevalue different perspectives and cultures bring to an organizationExperience andEducation RequirementsMinimum 10+years in IT with 5+ years in a Product Leader roleBachelorsdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,Engineering, or related field. *LI-MA1Apply for this job.
