Inside Sales Representative (Companion Animal)Overland Park, KansasCompensation: Base is dependent on skill set and experience + bonus The Inside Sales Representative will have ownership for sales and customers on a national basis. They will nurture and solidify current relationships while also developing new relationships with potential clients to grow the business. This position will be responsible for achieving sales objectives through focused sales call management, focusing on targeted customers, and selling the benefits of the hiring company s brand. The successful candidate should be based in the KC metro area. What you get to do:Growth of the business unit through a concrete understanding of the customers, the competitive market, and our unique value propositionIndependently generate new and repeat business to achieve sales targetsBuild and maintain relationship with a wide range of veterinary and distribution partner professionalsCreate call plans to reach multiple customer targets efficientlyAbility to act/react independently within confines of role requirementsAccurately process and track orders for timely deliveryThorough understanding of the customer s needs, goals, and roadblocksPresent sales materials at customer meetingsProduce accurate sales and call reports and forecasts for customer accountsDevelop customer and market insights to assist with sales and marketing strategic planning What we need from you:Experience in sales / communications / business requiredA minimum of 2 years within an inside sales or outbound phone sales role; combined sales experience of 3 years preferred.Proven and demonstrated sales management skillsExperience within the animal health industry (preferred)Hands-on experience dealing with a variety of customers and decision makers requiredExperience managing customers and sales activities through a CRMFluent in Microsoft Office Products and the ability to quickly learn various business software programs.
