Inside Sales Representative
Details: Description A leading post-secondary institution in Gurnee, IL is seeking candidates to fill an immediate temp-to-hire Inside Sales/Admissions Representative position. WHY WORK HERE? This client offers Medical and Dental benefits. You can choose an HMO or PPO. There is opportunity to add family into your benefit package at an increased premium. These benefits are available the first of the month after you complete 30 days of employment. Client also offers a 401K and profit sharing opportunities. 10 vacation days are awarded the first 5 years of employment. After 5 years you earn 15 days. This client celebrates 9 paid holidays per year. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Phone work: Through marketing efforts client develops leads that are assigned to the Admissions Representatives. In this phase of the position, the rep must call the prospective student to set up an appointment for the prospect to come in to the school to get more information about the program. We don’t try to sell the programs over the phone. We want to do that face to face. In this part of the job you can expect to make anywhere from 75 to 125 dials per day. So you have to have the desire to work the phones hard. 2. Interview: This is the part of the process where you sell the training programs. In a face to face scenario you will execute a needs analysis, select the right training program to sell, promote that program as a solution to the prospects needs and goals in a consultative manner. There is a first time close expectation so you must be aggressive enough to ask for the sale, and assertive enough to overcome objections. 3. Follow-up: Once the student applies to school, the rep must follow-up with the prospect to ensure they start school. 4. Referrals: Although the company supplies leads to its reps, the company also expects the reps to supplement the lead flow with referrals. You will have a budgeted number of referrals to generate per month. Working hours: Monday-Saturday Various Skills: SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: -High school diploma required -Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Inside Sales role required. -Must be able to work as many hours as needed to deliver your monthly sales budgets. -Effective communication, high energy level, high sense of urgency, competitive, resilient and maintain the ability to relate to others.
