JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This job description reflects assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. * Follow detailed operating procedures to assemble, test, and troubleshoot point of care medical instruments. * Collect, analyze and process production related data for submission to Device History Records. * Participate to manufacturing studies with MFG Engineering. * Maintain productivity and adhere to all quality requirements. * Operate safely within a biohazardous environment. * Process and complete required sections of Batch Records and other documentation as required. * Operate automated test fixtures. * Perform system level testing using digital test equipment. * Troubleshoot to board level EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Applicants are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); an A/S Technical degree or equivalent certificate desired. Experience in Electromechanical assembly is strongly preferred. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and Schematics. * Demonstrated understanding of electromechanical assembly. * Knowledge of digital test equipment * Computer proficiency with email, computer training; and Microsoft Office * Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail * Ability to read and follow operating procedures, and familiarity with Batch Records. * Ability to work without supervision and with no instruction on routine work. * Commitment to follow established policies, practices, procedures. * Excellent written and oral communication skills (in English). Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, incumbent must be able to access all areas of the facility. May routinely lift 50 pounds, and will utilize certain Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to, hard hats, safety (“steel-toed”) shoes, eye protection, gloves, and/or protective clothing.
