Iselin, NJWherethe Chemistry HappensWe are seeking a professional like youto serve as an Instrumentation/Control Systems Engineer at our Iselin, NJsite. This is an excellent opportunityfor you to demonstrate your experience in writing well-structured code forprogrammable controllers in IEC61131-3 standard languages. You will also share your ability to developsophisticated SCADA applications for controlling instruments, monitoring ofexperiments, alarming, data collection and presentation. Additionally, you will have the ability toshowcase your understanding of RS-232/422/485 serial communication protocols,industrial field bus networks, OSI model, and OPC standards.Formula for Success Leveraging youreducation and experience in Engineering or a related discipline, youwill design and lead the development of new control systems for automation ofvarious laboratory instruments and process equipment.Your well-developed troubleshooting skills ofelectrical and electronic equipment and ability to diagnose computer andnetwork related issues will be essential as you troubleshoot, maintain andmodify the existing electrical and automation system.Working collaboratively with Process Engineers andScientists, you will define and accomplish project goals and specifications.Demonstrating your understanding of typicalprocess control techniques such as PID, cascaded master/slave, split range, andmodel predictive control, you will provide technical direction, advice andconsultancy support on electrical, process control and automation relatedtopics.Your sound leadership and management abilitywill be a valued asset as you cultivate external resources to achieve projectgoals, organize and safely manage contractors. Your strong commitment to workplace safety willbe evident as you understand local and national safety standards andcollaborate in hazard risk analysis and safety assessments.Your proficiency in using AutoCAD to developand maintain electrical drawings and P&I diagrams will serve you well asyou maintain and develop appropriate engineering drawings, designspecifications and operating instructions.Utilizing your proven experience in designing,implementing, programming and commissioning PLC, DCS and SCADA based controlsystems, you will specify and purchase electrical equipment, control systemhardware, software and instrumentation.CreateYour Own Chemistry: What We Offer YouAdding value to our customers begins with adding value to you.
