About this Job:Identify strategic opportunities driven by the
Vegetable business in the Eastern U.S. in order to achieve profitable growth
and create an industry leading, sustainable position for Syngenta through the
enhancement of working relationships and
executing plans with identified and targeted clientel. Work with strategic grower customers, vegetable packer/shipper/brokers,
and other Vegetable organizations or associations to achieve sales growth
across product lines. Assist
in execution of sales campaigns and achieve agreed sales targets and actions with
identified accounts in accordance with the strategies and objectives set for
vegetable business in the East.Essential
Knowledge and Experience:
Work
closely with Marketing to ensure that appropriate customer
segmentation exists and appropriate offers are defined and delivered for
vegetables business.Ensure
compliance with commercial policy of the Commercial Unit, HSE requirements, local
legislation, and competition law. Promote the image of Syngenta, representing the Company
with legal authorities, industrial associations,
and all relevant institutional entities.Actively develop relationships with outside bodies that
have major influence on CU business i.e., external markets for product and marketing
boards etc.Agribusiness experience: knowledge of cropping practices and products
