Intern: CHS Stewardship (Summer 2017)
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our CHS Stewardship group. We are looking for a CHS Stewardship Intern to participate and lead a variety of projects in the following categories: marketing communications, employee engagement, web sites and publications. You must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to collaborate. Creativity with excellent communication skills and have the ability to handle multiple projects is a must. You will:Participate in planning giving campaigns including several of the company?s employee engagement activities such as the CHS United Way campaign, giving garden, Adopt-A-Highway program and other volunteerism activities.Assist with the CHS Foundation scholarship programs including database support, internal/external communications and marketing materials.Work on a variety of special projects including but not limited to: creating presentation materials and meeting preparation.Assist with marketing/logistics coordination for the CHS New Leaders Forum, one of the company?s signature young producer conferences, and the CHS booth at the National FFA Convention.Assist with monthly financial reconciliations and administrative tasks.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.Basic Qualifications: (required)Working towards a degree in a Marketing, Communications, Ag Business or other related programInterest in writing for online and print communications Preferred Qualifications: (desired)Background or coursework in agricultureWriting experienceApply for this job.
