Intern – Government Relations
The National FFA is seeking applications from qualified individuals interested in a two-month internship at the National FFA Center in Indianapolis, IN. The position will start mid-June and end mid-August.The Programs and Events Division is looking for an Intern to provide support for the State FFA Officer Summit, by coordinating and scheduling legislative visits for state officers. Curriating content, organizing materials and assembling information packets for each legislative visit. This internship may provide the opportunity for onsite support during the State FFA Officer Summit which would include travel to Washington, D.C. Exceptional organization and time management skills are critical for this position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Dependable attendance and punctuality.Team player with the ability to work independently in a frequently changing environment.Good interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication and project management skills.Interact and work with a diverse group of internal/external people.Provide excellent customer service to internal and/or external stakeholders.Effectively prioritize, organize, use time-management skills, and be adept at multi-tasking.Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented, able to problem solve/analyze.Computer literate, able to make and receive phone calls.Requirements:EDUCATION:HS diploma or equivalent. Some college highly preferred.EXPERIENCE:Agricultural education / FFA experience preferred.Apply for this job.
