Intern Operations/Continuous Improvement (Caldwell, ID)

We currently have an Operations/Continuous Improvement Internship open at our North American Food Group Idaho Plant, located in Caldwell, Idaho. This Internship opportunity is designed to provide a realistic job preview and lay the solid foundation necessary for a future career within Simplot. As part of the plant operations team, you will participate in and may coordinate continuous improvement and processing activities in the facility on each shift to improve the production of finished products at target specifications, in a food safe environment, to maximize operational efficiencies and meet productivity goals, all while ensuring the safety of all employees. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Currently enrolled or a recent graduate, from a nationally accredited educational facility/university.
Capable of working full time, shift work, and weekends.
Strong mathematical, verbal and written communications skills.
Leadership, Coaching, Participative Management style
Ability to manage Individual and Team Performance to goals,
