IT Asset Administrator
?Helena Chemical Company, a national agricultural-chemical company, has an immediate opening for an IT Asset Administrator our Collierville, TN corporate office.SUMMARY:? Administers the hardware leasing, costs, rollout and return, and maintenance of Helena?s computer hardware.? In addition, this position will administer all IT related contract renewals and ensure that all licenses are renewed prior to the expiration date.??? Must primarily perform office or non-manual work directly related to management policies or general business operations. Also, must exercise independent choice and judgment in matters of consequence 50% or more of the time.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Analyzes vendor financing options for leasing of IT equipment in order to determine the most beneficial financing options.Negotiates rates with leasing companies to obtain most advantageous financing for IT equipment.? Verifies lease information (cost, term of lease, etc.) and provides leasing company with serial numbers related to each lease.Serves as primary vendor contact for problem resolution, etc.Tracks current leasing contract expiration dates to determine future financing and equipment needs to minimize lease expense.Coordinates leasing expiration dates with appropriate IT personnel so that equipment needs are fulfilled.Establishes procedures to track distribution and return of IT equipment so that security of assets is maintained.Determines most advantageous method of distributing newly leased equipment to minimize freight costs and duplicate handling of equipment.Processes monthly lease invoices including leased equipment property tax invoices.? Codes invoices to ensure the proper general ledger accounting.Work with vendors including Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Oracle and others to interpret software license agreements to determine necessary compliance with licensing metrics.Maintain records and databases containing software asset information.? Maintain vendor contact data, as well as license rights and orders.?Conduct software license inventory periodically to confirm that the software portfolio matches entitlement records and perform license true-ups as required.Identify software and hardware nearing end-of-life and provide recommendationsAssist IT Management in coordination of software licensing audits with vendors.?Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplierMaintains files of all lease documents.Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.Reliable and regular attendance is expected.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:?
