This position will report to the Director, Information Technology,Americas Region.Responsible for day-to-day and long-term management ofhardware and software assets Includes planning, tracking, monitoring, and disposingof software and hardware assetsFormula forSuccess  Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Management,Information Systems, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experienceExperience3-5+ years of relevant assert lifecycle management experienceKnowledge/SkillsStrong analytical mindset, with knowledge of, and working experiencewith standard (ITIL-based) asset lifecycle management processes for hardwareand softwareHas experience developing and maintaining processes for managing andtracking IT Asset related items from procurement to retirement Working experience and understanding of asset management tools (eg.ServiceNow IT, etc.) asset discovery tools (eg. SCCM, Flexera, etc.), andsoftware inventory / software asset management (SAM) solutions,Understanding of the main hardware products (mainframe, blades, chassis,NAS, SAN, routers, switches, mid-size servers, small size servers, desktops,laptops, smartphones) to be managed as assets,Understanding of the main software products (operating systems,databases, middleware, application servers, office suites, groupware,virtualization systems) to be managed as assets,Strong facilitation/communication (written and oral) skills – capable ofinteracting with and managing meetings with various functional and technicalstakeholders,Has a strong sense of autonomy, responsibility, and values accuracy andprecisionHighly organized; has project planning / project management experienceHighly proficient in oral and written communications Has a continuous-improvements mindset towards current & future assetlifecycle management processes and executionAdditional Knowledge/SkillsTraining / certification(s) in asset lifecycle-related ITIL v3 or v4processes (i.e. Problem Mgt, Incident Mgt, Change Mgt, Configuration Mgt /CMDB, RCV / Release, Control & Validation, ST / Service Transition, etc.) ?at Practitioner level or higherHas Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) or similarcertificationHas experience with a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Create Your OwnChemistry: What We Offer You  Adding value to ourcustomers begins with adding value to you. You@BASF is the suite ofbenefits, perks, programs and unique opportunities we offer to support you?thewhole you?in all stages of your life and career.
