DescriptionRoleSummaryReportingto the Global Commercial IT Leader, the IT Business Partner for the NorthAmerica Sales & Marketing organization will act as the single point ofaccountability to teams within this organization on behalf of IT. S/he willadvise and support business leaders in setting the technology strategy neededto meet business challenges and achieve their larger business objectives. S/hewill develop business strategic roadmaps that lay out the technology prioritiesand timelines and serve as a basis for translation into requirements to bedelivered. S/he will manage the IT investment portfolio in a transparent mannerto the business and be accountable for overall delivery of major programs andthe associated investment outcomes. S/hewill be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly matrixenvironment, developing a strategy for the organization and a roadmap toachieve strategic goals.  KeyResponsibilities & AccountabilitiesDevelopand nurture productive, strategic relationships with business stakeholdersDefinethe IT vision, strategy, and metrics, aligned to business strategyServeas the accountable liaison to the business organization for alltechnology-related mattersPartnerwith business leaders on ITs business strategic roadmaps and target statedefinitionsProvidefinancial diligence; manage IT investment portfolio efficiently and withinguidanceDrivetransformational change and a culture of innovation and agility; implementapplicable enterprise platforms and applicationsDelivercommitted outcomes of all IT capabilities leveraged by the businessDrivetechnology risk management for the business organizations (e.g., strongcybersecurity); proactively manage risk and compliance to regulatory standardsProvidethought leadership with regards to technology trends and their impact on thebusiness segment
maintain relationships within segment, the enterprise, andthe industry; influence Corteva ITs overall technology directionUpto 30% travel requiredQualificationsPositionRequirementsThesuccessful candidate should be an expert at building relationships withbusiness leaders and addressing business needs with technology thinking. S/hemust have capabilities in developing business strategic roadmaps as well assuccessfully owning the outcomes to meet business objectives.  S/he must possess a blend of hands-ontechnical ability with proven business strategic capability. Ideally, thisperson will have worked in a growth environment and have experienceprioritizing technology initiatives to align with business strategy. S/heshould have 10+ years of experience in a combination of information technologyand business strategy jobs.Proventrack record in driving business strategy with technology innovationExperiencein strategic decision making and successful influencing on leadership levelExperiencein managing relationships with business stakeholders and earning a seat at thetable to actively engage business leaders and shape future policies andstrategiesExperiencewith roadmap ownership, use case creation, strategy developmentExperiencebuilding and communicating business plans and associated capability roadmaps,as well as being able to provide technology insights required for deliveryFinancialacumen to support business case creation and measurementAbilityto be more than an order taker for the business – must stimulate, surface andshape business demandExperiencein IT portfolio management and business investments managementSuperiorcommunication skills, both verbal and writtenFamiliaritywith farming and/or agriculture strongly preferred, but not requiredExperiencein Sales & Marketing (Commercial) IT roles or Sales & MarketingFunctional roles strongly preferredExperiencein change implementation planning and managementTechnicalRequirementsExperiencewith Sales & Marketing technologies preferred (CRM, Digital Marketing,etc.)Experienceand Education Requirements10+years of IT and business experience with increasing levels of leadershipresponsibilityBachelorsdegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,Engineering, or related field. *LI-MA1
