IT Data Management Intern
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Data Management Intern to help support a variety projects that will range in scale and complexity. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated with confirmed leadership abilities, decisive leadership and presentation skills and be able to function in a team-oriented environment with resource and time constraints. You will:Participate in SAP readiness projects initiatives by:Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis from process areas and business subject matter experts for master data definition and data governance processes.Identify process improvement solutions in relation with master data activitiesAnalyze and resolve conflicts between business and process area data requirements.Partner with our internal development team to troubleshoot and resolve data related defectsAssisting with defining functional specifications, analyzing data and testing for enhancement to legacy systemsDesign and maintain master data governance solutions aligned to the enterprise data governance strategy Facilitate, support and train business subject matter experts on data migration validation procedures to meet target system design. Develop an understanding of data integration across process streams and the value it drives for reporting and analyticsMaintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)Currently enrolled in a Business Management, Information Management, Computer Science or other STEM degree program entering junior or senior yearProficient in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Preferred qualifications: (desired)Coursework in SAP Enterprise Resource Management ? Master Data ManagementCoursework in HANA database developmentBasic understanding of Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processingBasic understanding of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, SCRUM, XP, KANBAN)Experience with other programming languages.Working knowledge of SQL and Transact (T-SQL) statementsExperience or training with ERP Systems (SAP)Experience with Continuous improvement principlesApply for this job.
