In addition, Zoetis will never ask candidates to make any type of personal financial investment related to gaining employment with Zoetis.Position Summary: * Expert in data protection principles, theories, and concepts of privacy compliance; including industry knowledge of implementing controls within processes and tools
* Excellent in-depth understanding and working experience with compliance guidelines and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and the NIST standards * Often works on or initiates RM&C projects that are highly complex and requires compliance risk management skills Responsibilities: * Maintain knowledge of data protection and privacy practices across the company to better understand any risks, recommend preventive measures, and response to information security incidents * Administer and maintain the tools and technology solutions like OneTrust used within the Zoetis” Data Protection Office * Configure OneTrust solution to incorporate Global Data Protection requirements across various Zoetis in-scope markets & jurisdictions * Conduct periodic reviews and assessments within OneTrust to ensure on-going compliance monitoring of Data Protection regulations and requirements * Participate in IT Compliance work stream of the Data Protection Office, such as the implementation of governance framework, metrics, and reporting * Assist in developing and updating any data protection standards, procedures and guidance for ITS * Keep current with legal and industry trends to better collaborate on data protection strategy and methods of meeting requirements * Work with subject matter experts (e.g. Legal, Compliance, HR, IT) to address issues, inquiries, and complaints about the use of Personal Data * Assist in selection of Information Owners in accordance with the Zoetis Data Protection Standard and any legal requirements of the various governing jurisdictions * Train Information Owners to assist in acquiring and maintaining the knowledge required to fulfill their obligations under the Data Protection Program. Assist in setting Information Owner priorities using a risk-based approach. * Support Information Security to drive controls and measures over data protection of Personal Information. * Prepare, update, conduct, and coordinate privacy training with the assistance of subject matter experts within the business (e.g. Legal, Compliance, HR, IT). Resources Managed: * Contract resources Qualifications: * Bachelor”s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field * Formal training and/or experience in Data Protection regulations * Certification on OneTrust platform is highly desired * At least 3 years of experience in Pharma or Animal Health industry * At least 3-5+ years of relevant experience in Information Technology * Expert in principles, theories, and concepts of regulatory compliance, and of pharmaceutical regulations; including industry knowledge of implementing controls within processes and tools. * Be able to take a plan, direct the team and efficiently deliver it * Demonstrated skills for independently guiding quality and compliance activities during system development and implementation. * Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate with individuals and groups at multiple levels across the organization * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in an unstructured environment * Excellent customer relationship management skills Technical Skills: * Experience and understanding of relevant regulations, laws and policies across multiple IT compliance domains (GxP, Privacy, InfoSec, etc.) gained from career experience. * Proven ability to define and implement IT controls * Hands-on experience on the OneTrust PlatformStrategic thinking, leadership and relationship management with a demonstrated ability to operate at senior levels of a large international corporation
