We are currently seeking a motivated IT Deskside Support Associate.  This role will be located in Soda Springs, ID, reporting to the Engineering Technical Lead.As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will work with local and corporate resources to provide effective IT deskside and helpdesk support for the Soda Springs, Idaho and Rock Springs, Wyoming sites.  The role???s primary responsibility is to provide hardware, software and systems access support for local users.  The role will have the opportunity to own various projects and systems in a dynamic work environment. In addition, they will have access to a talented team of colleagues to support your work.Key Responsibilities:Execute all site phases of the PC deployment process.  This includes independently building PCs, adding site-specific installations, utilizing the software portal, customer communications and scheduling, replacement of related peripheral equipment, maintenance of accurate inventory records. Provide technical support for personal computers, software, VOIP phones, mobile devices, printers. Troubleshoot connectivity issues between end devices and network switchgear by tracing cabling and identifying ports. Administer Windows Active Directory user accounts. Maintain user accounts by creating new accounts, deleting accounts, transferring accounts across shares, granting access to applications and shares as requested by area supervision, group creation and ownership, distribution list management. Respond to assigned Helpdesk tickets in Remedy for local customers including support for site-specific applications, Microsoft Office, Windows, Remote Access, desktop hardware, etc. Administer software licenses by ordering licenses, consulting with corporate IT, and maintaining a database of all software licenses.  Maintain hardware maintenance contracts as applicable, maintaining current records with contract information. Handle printer needs for site including configuration, deployment, parts and troubleshooting. Support Conference Room IT equipment including audio/visual systems. Support plant camera system hardware and software. Provide general IT training (new users). Order computer related software, hardware and peripherals for the plant. Manage miscellaneous procurement and supply needs for IT and process control teams. Execute work as an individual or as part of a team. Manage multiple projects, tasks and responsibilities.  Organize and effectively prioritize work such that it meets the needs of the business.Qualifications:Required Skills/Experience:Minimum of a High School Diploma At least 3 years of helpdesk and/or deskside support experience Desired Skills/Experience:Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, MIS and/or similar disciplines Familiarity with technical terms, concepts and components of networks & databases Understanding of device management such as iPads, handhelds, wireless networks Prior knowledge and experience with Office 365 Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Strong customer focus Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment and form strong relationships and networks About Us:Bayer successfully completed the acquisition of Monsanto in June 2018, bringing together Monsanto???s leadership in seeds and plant traits with Bayer???s leadership in chemical and biological crop protection.
