IT Senior Vendor Management Analyst
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for a Senior Vendor Management Analyst to assist in the coordination of services from multiple vendors. You must be able to develop and maintain business relationships, work independently and in a team environment and possess polished negotiation skill with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will: Assess the CHS IT supplier base and assign portfolio position based on vendor criticality and relationship complexity.
Focus on strategic partners with high criticality and relationship complexity.Support the identification and qualification of suppliers through request for information, proposal or solution (RFx) process.
Facilitate the vendor selection and partner with strategic sourcing on vendor negotiations.
Maintain knowledge of competitive and industry trends to stay abreast of best practicesLead corporate partners in the contract, contract screening and contractor selection, contract preparation, auditing and post-contract follow up.
Perform contract lifecycle management from a technical perspective to ensure suppliers are meeting contract commitments and affect Change Orders, review and IT partner transition smoothlyEnsure relationships are established and ongoing meetings occur with suppliers to ensure the supplier is meeting expectations.
Partner with clients, vendors, and internal partners to maximize the value received from vendor management activities to include:Financial management and analysisVendor assessment and analyticsVendor quality managementVendor service level management and analyticsProvide oversight to software asset entitlements to ensure licensing is in compliance.
Act as single point of contact for software vendor audit requests.
Build teams to perform accurate accounting of software usage and execute management testing of controls.
Understand complex software licensing metrics.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications: (required)Bachelor's Degree8 plus years of experience in IT vendor management and service delivery to include:Managing and supporting sophisticated vendor relationshipsManaging and supporting managed services for different technologies and disciplinesDesigning and implementing agreements and contracts from a technical perspectiveExperience establishing Service and Operating Level Agreement (SLA & OLA) frameworks and identifying breaches and resolutionsPreferred Qualifications: (desired)Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with IT emphasis, Computer Science or Information TechnologyExperience with supplier contract management and terms interpretation
