This position will have a heavy emphasis on task management and coordinating activities with other teams.

The ability to shift from role to role as well as site to site, the desire to be hands-on and help diagnose/troubleshoot situations to build solutions, and the agility to learn and adapt skills to fit the needs of the organization will be key to success. Strong technical expertise, customer engagement, relationship management, and communication skills are a must. Must have a thorough knowledge of business processes that exist at all Distribution Centers and ability to engage on multiple projects with multiple levels of customers, including executives. A demonstrated aptitude to rapidly develop expertise in a complex technical environment and previous experience with Distribution Center-specific ITS Support functions is required. Strong communication and project management skills are required to maintain effective internal and customer relationships. Job Responsibilities:Design and Delivery of New Technology Solutions * Interface with clients in the understanding of business requirements (including Zoetis Logistics Leadership) * Engage with ITS infrastructure support teams in the identification of required improvement solutions – Coordinate locally the infrastructure support activities and projects * Actively engage with the business to identify and develop continuous improvement initiatives at the Distribution Centers. Develop business case for continuous improvement activities. * Engage with ITS application solution teams in the identification, evaluation and recommendation of information solutions * Articulate vision, selection criteria, and rationale for preferred solution during GMS-ITS review * Assist with definition of solution scope and development of project plans and budgets. * Engage with Risk Management and Compliance ITS in the identification of Compliance solutions implementation (GMP, Security, Business Continuity) – Interface with clients for all related ITS compliance activities (Validations, Qualifications, Audit preparations, Continuity tests) Support * Support local infrastructure and applications – including, but not limited to scales, printers, scanners, PCs, conveyor control software, Vocollect System, OS upgrades * Act as a liaison to the Zoetis Automation and/or Networking teams (where applicable) for global infrastructure/network projects * Assist with ITS budget control and ITS procurement activities at all US Distribution Centers * Coordinate support and equipment preventive maintenance activities with local users or external vendors Documentation: * Develop clearly written specification documents, work instructions, qualification, and/or support and training materials * Prepare routine reports or status updates for clients on the status of systems or program roll-outs * Prepare and maintains sections of presentations on implementation initiatives as required * Maintain end-to-end models of technical implementations in appropriate support tools
ITS Problem Resolution: * Provide support to clients in response to Service Center tickets, Service Requests and ad hoc requests, meeting or exceeding established service level agreements * Resolve problems and identifies issue-prevention opportunities and solutions, demonstrating true service excellence Benchmarking: * Performs research on industry best practices * As appropriate, participate in or review materials published by professional organizations and local associations to contribute towards recommendations for standards and practices QualificationsEducation * Bachelor”s degree in a relevant field; Computer Science is preferred Experience – 5+ years in the following areas: * Distribution Centers experience strongly preferred, including ERP experience * Business process analysis and design; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements * Clear understanding of software development lifecycle and Application support; Project Management; Working knowledge of networking and systems design * ITS client support of pharmaceutical manufacturing and Distribution Centers operations. * Knowledge of pharma/animal health business activity
