Provides technical support and problem resolution to customers and assists with the System Administration of member, Retail and corporate information systems and infrastructure as assigned.
Provide tier 1, 2, and 3 technical support and problem resolution for information systems customers.
Configures, installs, and supports microcomputer hardware and software.
Assist with administration of all endpoint devices. Including ensuring that corporate software policies and security policies are properly maintained on all endpoints within the environment.
Administer, develop, and maintain the deployment of ?designated client systems (Windows, Chrome, Linus, MacOS, etc.l)
Perform physical installation of computer hardware and peripherals as necessary.
Serve as an escalation point for other technical contacts within the system.
Assists with system administration for participating member cooperative LAN servers and infrastructure.? System Administration includes monitoring performance, ensuring that security procedures are implemented and enforced, ensuring data backups procedures are performed, problem review and solution implementation, etc.
Assists with the building and replacement of remote servers. Including migration of Active Directory forests, File shares, DNS roles, DHCP roles, and printer management: Other duties associated with this process include: scheduling, building, installation, post-installation follow-up, etc.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues as it pertains to Servers, client devices and client software solutions. Provide clearly defined network connectivity analysis to network administrators, and management staff as part of problem analysis. Analysis should include ?fool proof? demonstration of ports, protocols, address solution, vendor specifications required, etc, to address any problems that may arise.
Develops and writes specifications and procedures for the installation and use of a variety of information system technologies.
Prepares monthly status reports, project summaries, and technical recommendations.
Provides client training regarding use of System standard hardware and software.
Utilizes the IT Project Management tool and procedures for appropriate projects.
Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires a Bachelor?s degree in business or computer science, or the equivalent thereof, and 2 years or more of IT related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of information systems technologies.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROWMARK System within one year of employment start date.
Must have profeccient knowledge and ability to support at a high level, Microsoft Windows 7, 8.1, and 10.?
Frequently required to lift 21 – 50 lbs.
Ability to work other than normal business days and hours. Flexibility in scheduling
Ability to travel independently and overnight and be assigned temporarily to client locations, technical conferences, training, etc.
Must obtain and maintain a Passport for support of Canadian operations.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?
