SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing general cleaning and overseeing the janitorial procedures and tasks of the evening shift, making sure all areas are properly cleaned, vacuumed and all necessary areas restocked for the next business day. This includes and ensuring team members have been instructed on proper safety procedures when cleaning the facilities, knowledge of all cleaning chemicals and SDS used within the department. Other responsibilities includeordering of supplies, performing daily administrative duties i.e. employee records and work schedules. Other duties include safety meeting, scheduling ongoing training for team members and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. The position would also include monitoring building security procedures. Security duties include: inspection and control of sub-contractors entering or leaving the facilities, allowing only authorized personnel into the facility after business hours, roving or walking through the facilities to check locked doors and report any unusual conditions or incidents, answering incoming after hour's switchboard operation calls. Requires a valid drivers' license, and must be eighteen years of age or older.REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma, a vocational school, or equivalent.Experience: Supervising a group of personnel and self-management skills helpful.
