Key Account Manager – Dairy Feed Additives
A reputable and growing livestock feed additive company is searching for an experienced Key Account Manager! Our client is needing a professional who can provide sales and support to feed companies, mills, nutritionists and large dairy producers in New York and Pennsylvania. This territory does have current business that would be handed off, but growing the territory is a high priority! Their products are supported by PhD nutritionists and are research proven to be beneficial to the dairyman! About the Opportunity:Provide sales and technical support of feed additive products to dairy operations and feed companies within assigned territory (NY/PA)Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot technical feed ingredient questions Ability to cold-call and sell to established and prospective customersMaintain knowledge of industry by attending conferences and work shops Put on meetings and training seminars for current and prospective customers Minimum Qualifications:2+ Years of successful sales in Dairy Cattle Feed/Health Industry is preferred Develop business relations with nutritionists, feed company and large dairy producersFlexible travel covering multiple counties (50% overnight travel) Degree in Animal Science or related field is preferred Strong Communication and Computer Skills Compensation and Benefits:$80,000-$120,000 Base Salary + Monthly Sales CommissionCompany provides: vehicle, phone, computer and travel expenses Full Health Benefits Package including 401K Matching Program Please contact Chad Smith at 605-978-5433 for more information on this or any other positions you may be interested.
