Label Registration, Marketing and Customer Service
Position Summary: Mar Vista Resources is a formulator and manufacture of nutrients and surfactants that are used on numerous agricultural crops grown in California and Arizona. We engage in marketing our product through a crop protection products dealer network in our geographical region. We also are engaged in developing new products and technology that can help growers improve their crop protection yields and quality.Job Duties Include: Product Label Registrations, Product Development Project Tracking, Marketing, Sales Support, Electronic Marketing and Social Media Marketing, Taking Customer Service Support. Over time may occur during the busy sales period and when overtime is required to meet a project deadline. The position will be located in our office in Corcoran, California. Essential Functions: 1. Write and Design new product labels, register products with CDFA, manage Mar Vista registered product labels, ensure product labels are on Agrian or CDMS data bases, and support from Mar Vista Consultant with surfactant and pesticide registrations at DPR. 2. Support product and business development efforts by managing project data base and files, as well as working with suppliers and onsite Chemist in supporting overall new product development efforts. 3. Creation of marketing and sales support literature, presentations, communications, tradeshow needs and purchase of advertising specialties to promote products and company. 4. Work with Sales team in using social media and customer information to provide marketing support for product line and company, as well as maintain Mar Vista Website. 5. General Reception duties. Such as, answering phone calls, receiving orders, communicating with the sales team and customers with request for product and sales information.6. Data entry in AgVance system. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Four-year college degree with and emphasis in agricultural is preferred.2. Experience working in a fast-paced environment.3. Proficient in Microsoft office.4. Experience with Adobe products such as Adobe InDesign. 5. Strong planning and organizational skills.6. Courteous, professional and enthusiastic.7. Good phone skills.8. Ability to take initiative in completing all tasks at hand in a timely manner. 9. Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and achieve objectives. 10.
