As an integral member of the Metabolism & Safety (M&S) group, the candidate will assemble and review laboratory data; write/co-write, format, and process technical documents; compile and archive electronic and paper records; and provide general laboratory support logistics. Responsibilities include: * Assist in preparing technical reports and assembling technical sections for regulatory submissions. * Format, proof-read, finalize, and archive documents. * Provide troubleshooting assistance and/or training in the use of software for document preparation. * Serve as contact and gatekeeper for documents and document management systems for M&S and partners. * Review and organize laboratory data for completeness and GLP compliance. * Extract and assemble paper and electronic data for regulatory submissions. Minimum skills, education, attributes: * BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, pharmacy/pharmaceutics, or a related field. * > 2 years of experience, preferably in the human or veterinary pharmaceutical or agricultural/food industries. * Demonstrated skills in preparing technical documents or journal articles; reviewing and organizing laboratory data; and formatting and editing documents. * Advanced skills with Microsoft Word Office tools and experience with document management systems. * Familiar with common laboratory instruments and associated data collection and management software. * Excellent organizational and communication abilities (verbal and written English). * Ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment in a global company. * Other attributes: judgment, flexibility, perseverance, planning, problem solving, and adaptability. Desirable skills, education, attributes: * Experience in writing or contributing to technical sections/dossiers for regulatory submissions. * Knowledge of requirements (VICH and country/regional/state) for development of veterinary pharmaceuticals. * Proficient with some/all of these laboratory data systems: Empower, Analyst, WATSON LIMS, and SAS.Apply for this job.
