With headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, Bunge North America and its subsidiaries operate grain elevators, oilseed processing plants, edible oil refineries and packaging facilities, and corn, wheat and rice mills in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.Position SummaryResponsible for accurate reporting of finished good quantities, monitoring the work performance and breaks of all palletizers assigned to the area.Core Functions: Monitor the work performance and breaks of all production workers assigned to the area.Keep accurate case count ensuring cases ran for each order match put away in cooler.Maintain communication with the Shift Supervisor, Foreman, and Team Leaders.Perform a thorough turn over with the oncoming Lead Palletizer including what orders are being run, how many are left on each order, and where each order is being placed.Properly shrink-wrap finished pallets and place them in an area to await final storage.Find partial pallets of any item run and combine those items with the pallets being stacked.Ensure proper housekeeping of the palletizing line.Verify the information printed on the cases is legible and correct.Lead individuals assigned to them for special tasks.Any additional tasks assigned to them by Supervisors, Foremen, or members of Management.Skills/Experience Requirements: Satisfactorily perform on the Bunge Industrial Skill Evaluation.Ability to stack each different pallet layout.Passed a palletizers written and practical test prior to promotion.Obtain basic information from schedule and differentiate between various packaging materials.Demonstrate the necessary leadership skills to maintain a proper work environment.Training Requirements: Food Safety, Food Security, Safety, HACCP as it applies to the assigned area Pallet Jack Training and, pass a written and practical Operator test prior to promotion.Physical Demands: Able to lift 78 pounds approximately once every 2 hours, and lift 50 pounds or less repeatedly for ten hours and be able to remain standing 100% of the shift.SQF Requirements: Training, Documentation, Verification, HACCPBunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
