Corteva Agriscience?, Agriculture Division ofDowDuPont? is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Consultant for our Tipton, INlocation.  In this role, you will assistthe management team as it executes its business plans and goals through the useof established business improvement methods. You will pull together QualityManagement System, Six Sigma, Lean, DPS, TRACC and related improvement toolsinto a cohesive effort. Initiates and tracks improvement projects tightlyaligned with current business needs. Help coordinate project improvementactivities within the production location, receiving guidance from the LocationManagement Team and DPS deployment team. Utilize your leadership skills byleading and facilitating training sessions, conducting training and businessassessments, and providing coaching to location management team and employees. We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus to join our company! Duties/Responsibilities?Responsible forevaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost,improve sustainability and develop best practices within the productionprocess. Manage and negotiate obstacles andconstraints by utilizing various lean tools including valu stream mapping,cause and effect analysis, brain-storming, priority matrix, 5why, SMED, andtime studies. Ensure the process works at theoptimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supplyneeds.Making observations and takingmeasurements directly from the process, as well as collecting and interpretingdata from the other technical and operating staff involved.Monitor the ongoing performance ofprocesses within the production plant.Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing andfield activities as it applies to the growth of seed corn systems.Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems whileimproving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and reducing changeoverdowntime.Develop and coach employees to innovative new solutions.Improve process capability and production volume whilemaintaining and improving quality standards.Show results in reports.Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases ofproduction process.Provide suggestions during incident investigations.Advise on corrective actions.Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officersto develop a cost-effective and working production process.Ensure projects are completed on time.Ensure financial guidelines are followed.We areexcited to announce that Corteva Agriscience? is the name of the newAgriculture Division of DowDuPont?. Green Belt certification desired,or achieve certification within two (2) years of employment. Engineering background preferred.Lean Practitioner desired, orachieve within six (6) months of employment. Supervisory experience desirable.Project management skills desirable. Ability to effectively communicate andbuild/maintain relationships at various levels. Coaching ? ability to assess theimpacts of behaviors and actions and provide feedback that ensures alignment ofactions with desired goals.Political savvy ? ability to knowwho, when and how to handle sensitive issues. Sensitive to particular businessunit issues. Ability to see the big picture translating details into anorganizational perspective. Understands what it takes to motivate key decisionmakers. Communication skills ? activelyinforms up, down and laterally. Brings information to the team that enhancesthe team?s ability to succeed. Knows how to focus and align personal activitiesand that of others to meet business unit objectives. Expresses point of vieweffectively. Demonstrated project leadershipskills.
