AgStar is seeking a Leasing Officer in Minnesota or Wisconsin to serve our internal and external clients by developing new business through point of purchase (POP) programs from dealers, distributors, manufacturers, regional cooperatives and/or large agribusinesses with retail affiliates. The individual will market, structure and deliver leasing products. They will also lead any AgStar ‘front-end guidance’ research, obtain Credit Committee prior approval, and will work with AgStar’s Document Services, Central Servicing and Financial Operations teams for a smooth and efficient process flow and client service. The individual will call directly and originate lease and loan business with agribusinesses in assigned territory. They will place specific emphasis on agribusinesses not regularly called on by existing AgStar departments, plus any ‘non-traditional’ agribusinesses (large or small), or non-traditional production agriculture. The Leasing Officer will collaborate and support the AgStar Brand Marketing and Communications team with leasing education, interaction and follow-up with clients/prospects about AgStar’s leasing products. They will also assists internal AgStar clients with leasing related questions and issues.
