LEXION Technical Specialist & Trainer
Job PurposeBecome a member of the CLAAS of America (CoA) Technical Service Team and support the LEXION combine with an emphasis on technical training responsibilities. The job will also require input and assistance on the warranty for these components as well as technical support of CLAAS NA Dealers.Main Accountabilities and Essential FunctionsJob encompasses the complete LEXION combine product range.Lead CoA efforts on Technical Service Training on the LEXION combine product range.Troubleshoot/diagnose/repair technical issues over the phone or at customer/dealer location(s) as required.Serve as liaison between CLAAS Germany & CLAAS of America (CoA) service departments to monitor and improve CLAAS products .Create detailed technical reports for product performance and technical issues.Attend CLAAS product training in the US and Germany.Create technical publications (field actions/communications) that are to be published in support of the North American market.Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards. Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.Additional FunctionsOther special assignments and duties that may be required by management. Educational/Training RequirementsBachelors degree in Business or Ag related field preferred, not required. Experience Requirements2-5 years work related experience, preferred.Agricultural equipment experience, CLAAS equipment experience a plus.Advanced experience working with internet based applications, databases, and machine/engine diagnostic software(s).Excellent technical communication skills in both written and oral form.Process oriented with results driven strategic mindset.Strong problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to prepare presentations and present ideas in a logical way to management.Ability to travel both by ground and by air as needed (up to 10%) in North America.Proficient computer use including Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn various IT programs.Exceptional Project Management Skills.Must have valid Passport and valid driver s license with continuously acceptable driving history.Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.Must be self-sufficient with a proven ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.Must be able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.Apply for this job.
