The goal of our Location Internship is to ensure our interns understand and experience all facets of our retail crop inputs business. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Location Intern’s roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Key Tasks:In coordination with Branch Manager and Crop Consultant, Intern will provide accurate scouting reports and recommendations based on crop stages and weed identificationAssist in product deliveries to customers, with timeliness, efficient communication, and required paperworkSupport crop consultants with seed treatment, including deliveries and tracking seed inventoryUnderstand and assist the process of fertilizer blending Assist in loading/mixing/applying pesticides, gaining understanding of the importance of including proper adjuvants, mixing order, temperature, other field/weather conditions potentially influencing applicationMake safety a daily priority Able to work additional hours to meet business demandsOther duties as assigned Qualifications:Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving, and organizational skillsMust be a self-motivated team player with the desire to succeed Strong time management capabilityProficient use of computer programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPointValid Driver’s LicenseCDL endorsement preferredMust pass pre-employment drug screenMust meet DOT and Company requirementsAble to work additional hours to meet business demandsNutrien Ag Solutions, a Nutrien Company, is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
