Large independent Ag retailer is seeking a Location Manager for Northeast Missouri. This position will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the location. This will include: sales, operations, personnel, and profitability. This company is an industry leader in agronomy technology, proprietary products, and seed sales.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Develops and implements selling activities to dealer and/or grower customers in marketing territory to achieve maximum sales and profitability.Develops and implements operational procedures for efficient distribution of all product lines in compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.Sells products, which are profitable for the company.Recognizes changes in the market resulting from environmental, economic, or competitive conditions and develops sales strategies to meet those changes to remain at the top or increase sales penetration.Places special emphasis on and being committed to the sale of proprietary products and seeds.Assigns duties to location personnel, evaluates the performance of location personnel, and motivates and trains personnel to assure maximum utilization of the location staff.Updates knowledge and skills to meet the needs of a changing customer and product mix. Effectively resolves customer complaints; application and service problems; distribution; inventory needs and control; and personnel issues.Develops and maintains credit information on all customers, administers the approved credit policy, and the collection of receivables in a timely manner.Assures that the company image is developed and maintained favorably with customers and suppliers.Implements location sales plan in regard to products promoted, customer pricing, sales strategy, market development, volume increases, new customer contacts, and approved credit policy.Supports and assists Division management in any other functions as may be deemed important and necessary for location or division operation.Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.Regular and reliable attendance is required.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:?To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.?
