SUMMARY:? Assists in the shipping and receiving of product and completes shipping and receiving reports by proper identification of products and quantities. Performs work in a safe, responsible manner by following all safety rules and procedures.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Maintains manual and electronic documents and records.Organizes in-coming and outgoing products and tracks the locations of product throughout the plant.Ensures that out-going products are packaged and label appropriately and in compliance with all state and federal regulations.Reports any problems with in-coming or out-going shipments to management.Maintains cleanliness of warehouse, dock, and surrounding grounds.Observes all company and safety rules.Organizes in-coming and out-going truck traffic.Maintains a clean work environment both inside and outside the facility by using good housekeeping habits.Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.Reliable and regular attendance is expected.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:? Knowledge of DOT regulations and regulatory compliance paperwork required.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:Detail oriented.?Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.?Reading and writing skills in English.?Must be capable of passing an OSHA respirator physical.?Must be able to complete DOT hazardous materials handling and hazardous waste management training requirements.?Ability to stand for long periods of time in extreme hot or cold temperatures.?Ability to work rotating shifts as scheduled.?PHYSICAL DEMANDS:?
