Position Summary:The position will work as part of the team that manages barge logistics, specialty grain documentation and supports grain division management with miscellaneous clerical duties.
Job Responsibilities: Maintain constructive working relationships with merchandisers and customersAnswer phones, take messagesTrace bargesGive/take barge applicationsData entry into Gulf Logistics SystemPrepare specialty grain documentationMiscellaneous clerical/office duties as assigned Job Requirements: The coordinator will be hands-on, resourceful, possess a strong work ethic and professional persona in addition to the following: A strong spirit of teamwork, cooperation, the ability to cultivate/maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization.Independent decision making and problem solving skills with the ability to develop solutions in a logical, systematic way.Organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail/follow-up.Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changes in environment / responsibilities.Experience with Microsoft office products a plusThis position offers a complete benefit package, including 401K/ESOP, pension, health, life and dental insurance.
