Come grow with us!??General Purpose and Scope of Position:?Coordinating of product orders, and ?transfers between branches and distribution center as well as assisting in all aspects of customer service, including product selection, order processing, logistics, data entry, and inventory management.?Key Skills and Abilities Include:Must be able to read, analyze and interpret written procedures and reportsAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from other employees, customers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, etc.Must be able to deal effectively with different personalitiesAbility to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical applicationsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to sit at desk or computer terminal to perform writing, and keying/typing informationPrevious experience within the agricultural chemical industry preferredPrevious experience with JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning order entry system, preferredJD Edwards?s practices and process training will be provided, as necessaryMust have ability to perform data entry of 7500 to 9000 kph with accuracy and under strict regulatory timelinesAbility to learn detailed and specific procedures and processes and execute them accurately and efficiently?Key Personal Attributes Include:High school graduate or equivalentFluent in English, both verbal and writtenBilingual preferred, not mandatoryGood communication skills on the telephone, two-way radio and with the general publicMust possess good computer skills including knowledge of MS officeMust possess good mathematical skillsStrong customer service orientation required, including the ability to effectively respond to telephone calls and customer inquiriesMust have strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments?Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Process calls from our salesmen, customers and other branch locations for orders of materialsTake orders, process and prepare for pickup or delivery. Complete in an accurate and timely matter to ensure satisfactory billingCoordinate shipments of various products with trucking companiesCoordinate transfers of product between branches and main siteContact trucking companies to coordinate shipments and instruct drivers on requirements of the loadsInventory tracking and controlOperate truck scale and complete weight tags, bills of lading and hazardous materials shipping papersAnswer telephone and computer inquiries about product ordersResponsible for Inventory tracking and control, including conducting physical inventory counts of products stored in warehouses and bulk storage areas as requiredCommunicate directions and instructions, both verbally and in writing, to customers, vendors, other employees and the publicCalculate total quantities of products by weight and/or volumetric measurementsUse computer system to enter customer orders for bills of lading and hazardous materials shipping papersOperate truck scales and complete weight tags and shipping papersUse standard office equipment; Fax machines, postage machines, copier machines, etc.Provide backup and assistance to other dispatchers and/or receptionist, answering phonesProcess calls from our salesmen, customers and other branch locations for orders of materialsOperate truck scale and complete weight tags, bills of lading and hazardous materials shipping papersAssist with electronic order entry and processing (sales orders, shipping documents, invoicing) utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) softwareProactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in effort to develop and advance skill set and knowledge baseExtended hours and flexible schedule a requirement during busy seasonPresent a professional image to customers in all interactions (verbal, computer and in-person) and in personal appearancePerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner?Compensation and Benefits:Competitive hourly wage (to be determined based on experience and other factors)Comprehensive company benefits?Job Code:?DISPA03286?Apply for this job.
