GROWMARK is large enough to offer solid career opportunities, but small enough to provide a family-oriented, welcoming environment and great benefits.See what it's like to work at GROWMARK:??https://youtu.be/IsXYA-oaFYo??PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT?Generates profitable sales in the assigned territory through target marketing, competitive analysis, and providing value-added lubricant products, services, and recommendations to end user customers being serviced by the Pipestone, MN bulk lubricant facility.?ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS?Calls on, targets, and provides customer service for assigned geography with all lubricant business.? Geography includes: Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota and northwest Iowa.?Develops and implements marketing plans and sales strategies that generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.?Displays a level of lubricants technical competence to provide value-added sales support to customers.?Provides analysis of market dynamics and assists with the development of marketing strategies for the Pipestone, MN geography.?Utilizes target marketing and professional sales techniques, lubricant management programs, emphasis of appropriate features and benefits, and a contact management system when calling on patrons and prospects.?Develops territory and competitive analysis to maintain current knowledge of the marketplace and the competition.?Collaborates with the Lubricants National Account Manager and the Lubricants Marketing Manager, along with select Member Company sales people, to provide sales support and technical assistance for the development of United and Archer branded lubricant sales.?Provides value-added lubricant products, services, and recommendations to patrons, customers and prospects. Works with schedules for product delivery to customer locations.? ???Provides customer service by following up on customer complaints, and seeks a reasonable ?win/win? resolution.?Ensures the credit worthiness of customers, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.? Promotes the use of credit programs as a sales tool and helps provide the required information to establish credit.?OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS?Responsible for maintaining the assigned vehicle according to company standards and maintains the appropriate professional image.Follows GROWMARK?s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.?Performs all other duties as assigned.?REQUIREMENTS?Normally requires a Bachelor?s degree in marketing, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of sales/marketing related work experience to demonstrate the ability to generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.?Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.?Must have and maintain a valid driver?s license and satisfactory driving record.Demonstrated sales ability/persuasiveness, face-to-face selling skills, assertiveness, tenacity/persistence, resilience, competitive adeptness, credit worthiness, and product proficiency.?Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to get work done through others.?Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.?Capable of attaining and applying lubricant technical knowledge in assigned territory.??Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.?Demonstrated math skills and the ability to calculate discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc.?Ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.?Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.?Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK?s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.?We are an equal opportunity employer, including protected veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities.
