Maintenance Coordinator

DuPont Nutrition and Health, New Century Plant hasan exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will leadand coordinate daily maintenance activities by setting the schedules formaintenance mechanics and working closely with the Contract Administrator toset schedules for contract maintenance work through the proper use of the SAPPlant Maintenance system. TheMaintenance Coordinator also has responsibility of coordinating scheduled plantshutdowns using the DuPont TAR best practices. This role requires an excellent understanding of both production andmaintenance activities, outstanding communication skills, strong planning andorganizing skills, a solid understanding and ability to utilize computersystems to work efficiently (especially SAP-PM and Microsoft Project skills arecritical to success in this position). Responsibilities include, but are not limitedto:Working with operations, maintenance, and the
Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to schedule maintenance and contract
maintenance activities in a way that minimizes plant downtime Analyze metrics from the CMMS to improve uptime, reduce
costs, and maximize maintenance scheduling efficiency Maintain quality data to assess the effectiveness of
maintenance activities Lead efforts to improve maintenance effectiveness
through continuously improving preventive maintenance strategy, task
lists, PM intervals, reporting content, parts inventory data, etc.Ensure the maintenance activities are completed in order
to meet expectations of DuPont???s Process Safety Management process for the
location. Qualifications:The following are required:Three to five (3-5) years of industrial experience with
both production and maintenance assignmentsTwo-year technical degree or equivalent trainingProblem solving skillsTeamwork skillsExcellent communication skillsWilling and able to work in a variety of areas (field,
plant, warehouse)Willing and able to climb and/or work in elevated
areas; standing and sitting for extended periodsWilling and able to work both outdoors and indoors in
hot, cold, wet and dry conditionsWilling and able to lift up to 50-55 lbs. and complete
work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingPosition has potential exposure to hazards such as
electric shock or moving partsWillingness and ability to work overtime hours including
weekend work required during seasonal peaksDriver???s license and reliable transportationStrong planning skills and understanding of its
importance to maximize plant efficiency and uptimeSafety focus and value for/working knowledge of safety
systems Experience/knowledge of computerized maintenance
management system SAP/R3Knowledge of root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and
reliability centered maintenance (RCM) methodologySelf-directed, strong organizational skills, and detail
orientedStrong computer skills utilizing MS Office products,
including proficiency in Microsoft Project to coordinate complex
maintenance turnarounds
