Maintenance Generalist Class 1
Position is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing routine preventative maintenance repairs, performing emergency mechanical or electrical repairs, and
troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic Plant equipment.Also responsible for minimizing downtime due to equipment failure.
Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift and handle all mechanical problems that may arise in a fast pace environment. Candidate must be able to repeatedly push, pull, stoop, squat, walk, climb and stand on hard concrete floors up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs. Exposed on routine basis to cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40 to 75 degrees, wet/humid conditions, and slippery floors in some areas.
This position is exposed to noise levels that require hearing protection.
Position requires Lock Out Tag Out certification.
Candidate must be able to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, and maintenance instructions/procedure manuals.
Must be flexible regarding work hours and available when needed.
