Maintenance LeadCotton SeedLubbock, TX Bayer is seeking a Maintenance Lead to join our team at our new State-of-the-Art cotton seed production site in Lubbock, TX. In this role, you will be a member of the Leadership Team and lead the maintenance activities at the site. You will provide a clear strategy to improve the performance, reliability and longevity of all facilities and equipment. You will have leadership responsibility for a team of technicians located in Lubbock and our bulk storage site in Aiken, TX (about an hour away). To be successful in the role, you will drive results through high personal proficiency, delegation of tasks, coordinating the work of others, developing/coaching techs and peers, developing the team and collaborating regionally to innovate and improve processes. You must be able to adapt quickly to changes in our business and courageously face new challenges. The Maintenance Lead is expected to drive progress by leveraging the talents, skills, and resources of team members in a highly matrixed environment. This is a visible role within the organization and you will have to opportunity to develop and maintain a strong relationship with various roles including Site Leadership, Crop Leadership, Environment, Safety & Health teams, Engineering teams, and other site support personnel to direct maintenance operations. Responsible for scheduling, prioritization, and assignment of projects for maintenance activities at the Lubbock & Aiken sites. Support and track financial management activities such as budgeting, cost management, capital management, equipment replacement/retirement, expense reporting, and payroll tracking.
