This role regularly performs mechanical installation and maintenanceof plant equipment and the facilities. Occasionalelectrical work to be performed as needed. Position duties will include, butnot limited to:Maintenanceconducted on plant and field equipment/machinery, vehicles, and facilities.General maintenance projects planned andexecuted. Assist with planning preventative maintenanceprogram.Proper settings of machinery/equipmentdetermined to prevent loss. Preventive maintenance conducted in a manner toensure hazards and damage is eliminated. Cleanliness/5S maintained.Maintenance records or reports completed,maintained, and properly entered into the electronic system (SAP). Systems maintained to ensure hazards andequipment damage is eliminated.Equipment/machinery,vehicles, and facilities repaired and operating properly.Repairing, replacing, reassembling, adjusting,welding, testing, etc. conducted as needed.Cost effectiveness of repairing vs. replacinganalyzed and recommendations made.Active participation in equipment installation,fabrication, and/or facilities expansion/upgrade projects. Maintenance of HVAC and compressed air systems.Hand and precision tools operated andmaintained.Repair parts and supplies requested and/orordered through the electronic system as needed.Internal resources and/or local vendors may beidentified and coordinated with.Miscellaneous repair and maintenance providedas needed (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, locksmith, etc.)Repair records and system data entry completedand maintained.QualificationsTo be qualifiedfor this role, you must possess the following:HighSchool Diploma/GEDTradeschool in Mechanical Maintenance or related experience2+years of mechanical maintenance-based work Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas;standing/sitting for extended periods Proficient computer skillsOperating machinery, motor vehicles such astrucks and/or forklifts; repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting (minimalrequirement 60 lbs)Exposure to weather and environmentalconditions (e.g. heat, dust, cold).
